Ashley Nemeth;

A vocal advocate for breaking down the misconceptions and stigmas as well as advocating for the abilities of people who are blind and partially sighted. Ashley Nemeth is a motivation speaker, blogger, and freelance writer. She works with individuals and organizations to bring forward change.

Ashley was born with albinism which left her legally blind, seeing colours and outlines of images but no fine detail. In her early 20’s, she lost the remainder of her sight and is now totally blind and sees no light or shadow.

Ashley is a vocal advocate for those who are blind or partially sighted as well as those living wth other disabilities. Ashley also lives with a condition called Ankylosing Spondylitis which affects her mobility and health. She advocates to break down barriers but also to show those living with disabilities that they can live a fulfilling life and live it the way they want.

Ashley is a mother to three teenage children and a wife to a husband of 17 years. They reside in Regina Saskatchewan. Where Ashley works and plays. They enjoy doing many things like Snowboarding, hiking, reading, golfing,, and camping. A busy family showing the world that there is no barrier that cannot be overcome when you work together.

Ashley is a motivational speaker, and has spoken to groups of 5 to 500. She has been a judge for Miss Canada Globe patent and spoken to many organizations about overcoming obstacles, disability, and much more. She writes for different magazines and blogs like Vision Aware, Health Union, Bold Blind Beauty, and contributes to AMI.
